My therapist just told me I'm depressed..do you ever feel like they tell you things you hear a lot or could have figured out on your own? Like take care of yourself, it's ok to feel such and such, etc. I'm still newer to therapy so wondering if that's the common experience? Do you ever have moments where you're like wow that actually is eye opening and I wouldn't have gotten that from reading self help books and websites etc?

Not receiving calls for SM or AC even profile is good and have posted in LinkedIn, Naukri, Glasdoor. Known circles are stating that Service based companies in india won't pay more than 30LPA for SM / AC profiles as a reason for not getting calls. Is it true? Any inputs please ?

Has anyone here used the "Read Scripture" app? It goes through the entire Bible and includes accompanying summary videos from "The Bible Project" (whose videos can also be found on YouTube). I love how it groups portions of Scripture and the videos are helpful for making meaningful connections with the text. I love these for myself, but they're super kid-friendly, too. Do you feel comfortable to reveal that you are a H1B worker with your coworkers? I never do.

What is your understanding of the norms around whose names end up on a brief/complaint/motion papers etc.? I’m a midlevel at an AmLaw 20 firm and have twice been the principal drafter of something only to be cut from the signature block. The associate senior to me is on it despite having done far less of the work. And it’s not because it required a rewrite or something. The filed product is 80-90% my work. Am I wrong to be pissed off about this?
