I was working as a regular staff therapist for 2 years at an assisted living when just 2 weeks back the HR approached me with an offer to work at a newly opened senior living, so basically I will helping them set up that location from scratch, open it and get it running. For doing all this they have not even clearly offered me a promotion, raise or a change in position. What should I do?

Looking to exit after 2 years into a new industry. Most of my project work and prior work experience has been in the healthcare space. Having a hard time getting interviews for Post-MBA roles (e.g., TC>160k) despite 2 years at S&, another professional degree, and 7YoE (5 of which were non-corporate and 2 were corporate). Looking to purchase my first rental property in the near future with two “partners” via an LLC. If I run the property at a loss (including 27.5 year depreciation and interest deductions), am I able to off set those losses against my active income?
