Hi folks, received an offer from Capgemini with a joining date of 02-Feb. However, the offer letter was released only on 16-Jan-2026, so I could submit my resignation to my current company only after that. My resignation is now accepted and my relieving is expected by 28-Feb. Because of this, the original DOJ is not feasible. I’ve requested HR to revise my joining date to 02-Mar-2026 and am awaiting confirmation. Has anyone faced a similar DOJ revision with Capgemini, and do they usually agree?

Any craft beer brewers here?

In the last two year I’ve gotten more and more into alcohol free beer. The selection in my country (Europe) is still small and mainly driven by the big brands (e.g. Heineken). My idea is to start my own small brewery which only produces alcohol free beer as a bit of a pendant to the booming local craft beer industry. Any thoughts on that idea or someone who has experience in the market?

I impulsively spent $400 on concert tickets before I left my last job. Now I’m entering my third month at a new job and I’m worried it’s too early to take off to go. At the very least I would have to sign off an hour or two early to be able to make it on time. But I feel awkward asking because generally I wouldn’t take off this early. For context, I have unlimited PTO.
