Recently I got an offer from eli lilly just wanted to know are they giving wfh or provide flexibility towards wfo (like instead of weekly 2 day can do any 6-8 day in month ) .

I want wfo but if they will also give flexibility towards wfo I am okay with it.

Has anyone started going to office? I went this week thrice! I did not like even a bit. Have started looking for remote jobs.

I don’t know about you all...but WFH means I never have to touch those those CLOTH handles on BART! Anyone want to share their positives?

I woke up this morning, went to the gym, made myself a nice breakfast. Folded some laundry, cleaned up the apartment and now I’m working outdoors at a coffee shop. Lunch hour is blocked so I can take a nice walk and listen to a podcast. God I love remote working.

What are your strategies for completing work efficiently? How do you figure out how long projects should take? A consistent piece of feedback on my yearly reviews has been that I over-bill & spend too much time on assignments. It’s something I actively work on, but I still have no concrete sense of how long I should spend on basic tasks (e.g., drafting a motion to dismiss). My firm is right to expect that I manage my time better as a mid-level associate. WFH has made my time management worse.

A HR question I really want to understand. ISRS HR quoted a podcast "The not so great resignation" saying 70% regret leaving and many want to go back to old employer. If this really the case the employee likely left due to higher pay at the new company. If they want to boomerang back they will likely come back at even a higher rate than they left the new company for. So getting double raise when they boomeranged. Isn't it unbeneficial, why not just give employee a 7% raise in the first place?
