I think adding location details would help others to suggest you better, if you are in Bangalore then less than 36 is really less, if you are Hyderabad then try for 32-33+, if you are in Chennai then 27-30 is not bad considering the cost of living of different cities based on my experience and analysis.
But you should always try for more than the above figures for the cities
So experience, tech stack and current location matters a lot while deciding the pay
