Upi id du .? Transfer karega? 😂
Well said. Its not one size fits all kind of situation where one will be happy only after having more money. For some, being with family brings happiness. For some, growth plus more money brings the same. Some are satisfied with what they do/earn.
Social media including fishbowl has made people make constant comparisons with unknown people on daily basis and its taking a toll. Everyone has the best life/package/job/tech except the one reading the post.
I got married when my CTC was 9 lkh in 2016.
To be wife then was questioning me 'itne pese ka kya karteho'. When i recall those words now adays, i use to laugh on myself

Paise ke sath sapne aur zaruratein bhi badhti jaati hain bhai 🤝
Zaruratein utni hi rehti hain. Ichhayein badhti jaati hain. Kharcha zarurat ke hisab se karo toh kum nahi padega. Try to use the extra money after saving to add richness to your life. Learn a skill that you wanted to, explore new places (even if it is in India).
Don't spend on things that will only sap more money from your pocket and add stress to your mind. Example, things like a fancier car, a bigger house, a bigger TV, overpriced phone, AC in every room etc.
Fame and money, the more you get , the less you feel.
Worked on 7k salary in 1st year of my career in 2011 and had a feeling of satisfaction. Fast forward 2022, 3.7L salary and still satisfied 😊
That's great .. your inhand is awesome 👌👏
It's a story of every common man. Back in 2009 , I received my first salary of 18K in TCS . I married when I used to earn 37K pm in 2013. It was difficult but still I used to save some out of that. Now with more than 300k pm , I am not that happy like in 2009.
Petrol used to be 46-49 /lit
Gold was 28-29K during 2013
Achhe din aye !!
Use to earn 12k. Those were the days❤️...
If a man have two valley's full of gold , he will wish for third one ....

Don't be workholic, enjoy ur personal life..
Spend some time with your school/college friends..
Easy go back to 7 lpa
Wish could trime travel to the past and get that feeling again. If package has to reset then everything has to
Money brings expenses life style changes along..plus look at the inflation as well
Back in 2011, I had 3LPA but was happy and had savings as well.Bought a bike, laptop, rented a house just for me alone.. I didn't switch company for 8 long years as I was happy and contented. Only when I got to the hear the voices that say " for this YOE you are definitely underpaid" I moved on, made a switch. Now m making my next. Still I hear the same.. "As long as you don't mind others you can be happy and contented ".
Note: If the person who says that is from your own family - yeah that sucks!!! As you might hear it daily!!
I got my first job in 2014, 96 KPA 😀 . 8000/m 🤑
And I was the richest person on the planet. Now I'm in the last month of NP and getting up on the ladder of offers from 15 => 18 => 20 and I'm started getting confused what to do now😂

Kindly elaborate why aren't you happy
My manager rightly said that only humble people reach the top🙂.
The main 2 reasons are.
1) Others packages info on Fishbowl
2) you are into 30% tax slab
