Fidelity Investment (equity sec) : 20.5 LPA + 3.0 L (variable) = 23.5 LPA
Wipro (Apple project) : 25LPA
Verizon : 26 LPA
I have got my retention proposal for 23.5 LPA at my current company.

Do anyone have idea on wlb in FIS and verizon. Is it a good idea to accept retention..

How is Flipkart for Work life balance? I have ~5 years of exp and hold an offer of 32 + Stocks. Also the expectation is to know Java but during the interview process , there was no discussion of Java or any questions asked. Although the team has asked me to invest some time in learning Java but I’m skeptical about all of this as the position is Data Engineer II so not sure how the expectations will change. Even if I invest time in learning Java I can be at a beginner level.

Considering a move to UAE and Inhave to major questions:
- How is the SC work life balance?
- I am coming from Europe, is there a big cultural shock?

Sister going through divorce with verbally abusive spouse, just received temporary judgement for custody of two year old and was awarded joint custody (she was anticipating she’d get sole custody). Stupid question but getting a divorce now and having a hard time figuring out what to do with sentimental things such as wedding pictures, travel pics, ornaments we bought together, etc. What did you do? Relationship was over 12 years and don’t know what to do. Should I jus pretend that those 12 years never happened or she was not there?

Divorce is amicable and based on growing apart rather than bc of cheating or fighting or anything else..

Sadly this is where I ended up (going through divorce with 6mo infant). Abusive spouse wants shared custody when he doesn’t know a thing about taking care of an infant.. any advice would help re custody or divorce as well. We are not in speaking terms

Been working as an Assistant Technician for 3 years (2 years excluding pandemic) pay is £21k now £22 adjusted for inflation. I will be completing my Part 1 in architecture but also have a degree in Technology, should I find a different company after graduation or take roles offering £30-45k as an Architectural Technologist/Technician.

It is so expensive to live here, I am struggling to make things work. Is this a normal salary for someone of my experience or should I ask for a raise? I got an offer to work at a Gensler office, but something has come up and need to move/work in a different city. Can I ask them to transfer me before I accept the offer? Will they do this if there is the same role currently open in the new city?
