My joining with Accenture is in next 4 days and now they are saying that there are duplicate IDs created and they want to merge them and would extend my joining. Is this a genuine reason or something else for which they are postponing the joining date. Also, anyone who faced this have any idea how this was resolved or what was the next step. And so far the Placement cell has only circulated a Offer acceptance google form. There is no official notification from PWC India as well. What else can I do?

I am being tapped to translate documents at work. I’ve done spot translation audits, and 1 larger Quality assurance document earlier this year, but was recently contacted about a potential large-scale translation initiative for next year.

Has anyone been compensated for these sorts of projects that would be “out of scope” for their role? How do you go about asking for compensation? Have any of you spun out and created translation service side-gigs?

I got offer from Wells Fargo and Walmart. Fixed is pretty much the same but Walmart is giving stocks additionally.
