Hi guys! Was approached by ZS to have an interview for a role in consulting. Anyone can explain what makes this firm different from close competitors like IQVIA, LEK, Clearview, MBB, Big 4? Also, if someone is open to dm, would appreciate immensely. Thanks!

Vs MBB/ B4: ZS is more of a pure play LS shop with very little activity outside of biotech/pharma/med device (and some minor pay or provider and transportation)

Vs Clearview/ LEK/ other LS-boutiques: ZS is much larger than these and offers more of a full suite of options ranging from upfront strategy to tech implementation and ops work, they kinda do it all, or at least try to. When I was there, I found that they tend to focus on strategy work with the ability to sell add on work vs say a Clearview / LEK which are more one and done strategy or CDD work.

They differ heavily on client perception. IQVIA is first and foremost a data provider whereas ZS focuses on its consulting services front and center. In interviewing with them and working with them now that I’m in big pharma, they seem heavily disjointed vs ZS which is more coherent in its service offering. I would also venture to say that ZS feels a little more upmarket, but I have to say I work with some pretty smart cookies from IQVIA on my team today.

ZS also does tech implementation work which makes them more of an “end to end” partner. Although I’ve not had great experience with them as implementation partners, I’ve worked with lots of smart, great ex-ZS people with strategy and commercial / data focus within pharma and tech!

My in-laws used to own a jewelry store, and they had this Omega quartz watch in their storage. I can understand why this wasn’t sold during their clearance sale lol. I had no idea Omega made stuff like this in 1987! I guess they couldn’t help it after the rise of quartz watches in the 70s to 80s. I doubt they’re worth anything even to this day. I see them on eBay for $700-1200, so who knows…

My partner and I are moving out of our condo building in NYC at month end, and the building management (not our landlord) has communicated to us that, on top of the 1K non-refundable fee and 1K security deposit to move out (stated in lease), they are also issuing a $1,250 "sanitization fee" for the public areas (hallways/elevators), since we happen to be moving out during COVID19. We feel this is taking advantage of tenants during this time and may not be legal. Any advice helps!

Do I apply with an employee referral or via LinkedIn recruiter that reached out? Alternatively, if anyone has experience applying/at NBCU, I’d so appreciate general advice :) TIA.
