Hi, I gave my final round of interview on Aug 4th &they told me to wait for an update until end of next week. It was a long duration to say yes/no but I said okay. I followed up with the HR this Mon and she said they are still deciding and will lmk.

q1. Do the HR usually immediately get updated about the Yes/No?
q2. If yes, when they say this, does it mean they have other person finalized &waiting for them to sign the offer?
q3. How long is it okay for me to wait?

Feeling lowballed received an offer to PNC product management development program. Excited to be making a break into product but it’s paying 20% less than what I’m currently earning.

I’m trying to pivot to PM after >3 years in finance and I have a 2nd round interview with CPO this week. Company has 3.7 on Glassdoor with complaints about CEO, “bro-y” culture, and hard to wfh. It’s a data analytics company with 5 PMs, was bought by a PE firm this year, and has a new (female) CEO as of Oct. Role is 50/50 hybrid, pays well vs what I make, and most importantly would be a foot in the door to PM. Is this a good place to be for PM? What else do I need to find out to know for sure?
