I have recently joined Fiserv and in my offer letter it is mentioned that i have to complete 45 hrs weekly in the office, however in my project they have 7 hrs mandatory in the office and remaining hrs are evening calls for approx 1.5 hrs.
I want to know if I am only doing 6 hrs daily in office then what are the consequences? Does they directly fire employees?Fiserv, Inc Fiserv india pvt ltd

I know but I had a break in career so joined it.
Is it says 45 hrs of duty or 45 hrs work in the office. Legally as per the policy, employees are entitled to work for 45 hrs. It does not matter from where I am completing this.
Especially, if your offer says 45 hrs of work from the office,then I think you are in advantage of not turning on the laptop at home, as by contract you are already completing in office.
