Hi! I just had a round 3 interview with an MD today at Accordion. Super excited for the opportunity, also would be a transition from FP&A into Consulting. He told me I got the green light and to message HR (which I did) and he would as well. Anyways, he brought up leveling strongly hinting that I was above Associate level. Hi, just wondering how the staffing situation has been in strategy consulting in general? My sibling started a job in strategy in Silicon Valley 2 months ago after MBA. She has been on the bench for 2 months and was informed that there has been a shortage of jobs (within the job) and the amount of people on the bench is getting high. She has been under a lot of stress although she had many great networking calls with people. I wanted to help but can't identify what she can improve on.

Any tips/scripts on how to negotiate for better salary without turning down what the co is offering?

Anyone know much about Simon-Kucher? I have an offer for SC there for $125k base with all-in TC for the year expected $165-175k. Currently a CO with 3-4 YOE, and considering making the move. I think CO at my firm is the equivalent to SC at B4
