Was reached out from an Amazon Recruiter for a Program Manager role. Got past the online assessment and now they are asking for total compensation expectations (inclusive of RSUs, bonuses). Any idea of what is a fair number to put? Currently a Senior consultant with 6.5 YOE, making 116K.

Is it common to negotiate software engineer salary at smaller companies? I know it’s common at FAANG, but what about for companies with around 200 engineers? I was offered RSUs for the first time as part of my compensation. I think I understand the concept as such but there are a few intricacies I was looking to clarify. Could anyone let me know if my grant date is 9th nov, 2022 and vesting period is 1 year, will I get RSUs allotted at the price of stock on grant date or vest date (in this case 9th nov, 2023)? How does partner comp compare across bain and bcg?

I got an offer from hcl and they are offering very less hike on my current CTC around 20% even fixed part is less than my current fixed amount.

I reverted asking them to provide 40% hike on my cctc or 20% hike on fixed cctc and wfh option.
It's been six days no reply from HR.
