Hi, just wondering how the staffing situation has been in strategy consulting in general? My sibling started a job in strategy in Silicon Valley 2 months ago after MBA. She has been on the bench for 2 months and was informed that there has been a shortage of jobs (within the job) and the amount of people on the bench is getting high. She has been under a lot of stress although she had many great networking calls with people. I wanted to help but can't identify what she can improve on.

Guys I am from Texas, USA. The last time I appeared for an interview was 10-11 years ago. I work in Java and related tech. I am also AWS certified (architect associate) but don't have much experience with it. I create small stuff on AWS for my personal learning. Is it normal for a big4 to take over two months in the interview process? Since end of January I've had five interviews w team members, including with the partner who leads the practice I'd be joining. Still no word.
