Hi I am also 17 turning 18 this year July but I can’t find any job
Ik but it is what it is I delt with it and I’m not there anymore
I would love to but most of the fast food places are an hour away and I can’t get up there in less I stay with my uncle but there are restaurants near me but they’re way to busy to actually train me up
HEB after Summer best job around for your age.
i’m a team member and most jobs at fast food are looking to see how fast you can work during a rush and if you can multi task and if you can give good costumer service
Retail and fast food are looking for cheap workers who move fast without explanation to get the job done. You are viewed as someone who cheapens their bottom line without causing mayhem. That’s about it. It means that you don’t slow the line and you put orders through. Pay isn’t very good and they expect you to work fast. That’s all fast food wants. If you answer those questions as presented you should hit a note with one. Not sure if you’ll get it, but most places like “fast food” look just for that. Some hire on looks and customer interactions alone, but the person taking and giving the order expect the same thing overall
My best advice that I wish I knew at the age of 17.. start out in a warehouse if you don’t mind working 10 plus hr shifts. Learn new skills it’s really good money at your age. Save up your first 5 yrs. Find better jobs from there and you’ll be ok.
