I understand a CofC is triggered in an equity deal, but is that also triggered in an asset deal (along with assignment, obviously)?

My agency is shifting to begin doing quick turn organic social production for a few brands and I’m trying to build a team that can support these asks. Ive honestly never worked at an agency that successfully handled this without it feeling chaotic- anyone ever have a successful team with this type of work? Any advice is appreciated!

Curious as to how many deals at once is typical for a first year associate to take on (M&A, mostly private equity clients). Deal size is lower middle market and I’ve worked on deals ranging from $1-$110M. 2 deals at once is plenty for me, but it seems like my peers are able to take on more than that at once and still do fine. Junior associate here, should I ask for more money if my firm is about 10-15 percent less hours but about 30 percent less pay? The gap will never be closed to the top pay scale at my firm but when I decided to come to this firm the pay difference was about 15 percent and not 30. Rising 2nd year here: been rethinking my choice as an M&A attorney. I've had a rough go of it over the first year-and-a-half of practice and am thinking about moving to a different practice area.
