Hi. I was recently selected at Novartis in walk in drive 2 weeks ago. I haven’t got any mail ever since. Whenever I talk to hr, they mention I need to keep patience and it will come in a few days. I’m quite confused now. Is it possible I might have been put on hold and i won’t receive the offer letter at all ?

I've been offered for Engineering expert position at Novartis India. I've received offer letter 2 weeks back and my DOJ is updated to Mid December. I told the HR that my current company's last working day is on mid January and resend the offer letter with mid Jan as my DOJ. But they told that they can send the revised offer letter 3 weeks before the joining date.
Is this normal process? Has anyone gone through similar experience?
