Are alternative investments a good area to get started in? I’m making a career change from insurance and like asset management, possibly at Northern Trust. They have openings for alternative investment analyst and I wasn’t sure if that is a recommended area to start in or would that not allow for growth? Have a final round of interviews as a remote candidate for a team that mainly lives in NYC. Hiring manager said during first interview that my location / remote status doesn’t matter and he has no concerns with hiring remotely for the role. How do I sell myself as a remote candidate to the other 4 team members I am meeting, knowing they all are located in the same city?
