Hi - seeking career advice. I am in middle of kind of career crisis. My current team is quite toxic and I did everything I could to adjust and adapt there but it was too much and in the end, I quit without job offer in hand. I feel really anxious about my future and feel lost at this moment. please could someone guide on how I can navigate this path.

Worst on boarding experience for CTS.

A parent of one of my students told admin she thinks it's irresponsible that I won't be grading over Christmas break. I let the students know to get any work they need graded in before the break and I'll get it to it during our workdays in January. Apparently that's not fast enough for her 🙄. Is it wrong that I'm sort of pissed off by this? Should I say something?

Hi all, how many of the big 4 accept 3 months notice period?

Home reno financing question. Have a big project coming up in the $120-150k range. Funding sources are:
- 90k from a heloc around prime
- 10k from a credit card that offers promo checks at 2-3% for 12-18 months
- 375k in a brokerage
- 5-6k per month cash that I can put towards the project, loans, or brokerage

I don't want to stop funding the brokerage because my FIRE plan is less numbers based than "hoard like dragon until it's enough" but maybe I should... How would you optimize?
