I recently underwrote a reply to final. Didn’t even bother with the references since I just got the case. Overcame the rejections.

Anyone have any thoughts about a junior attorney (2.5 YOE) joining a SAAS start up with around 150 people? I would be the third counsel they have hired. The company is looking to expand to 400 people over the next 24 months and just received their first round of funding after 2 years of no outside investment (leadership’s choice). My main concerns are legal risk, on the job training, etc.

We talk about not being paid enough, but now I see that 16 years and a masters degree has caused my salary to be higher than any entry-level job will pay someone with no experience in the field.
