You don't have to worry about project allocations.
We have multiple verticals, like Retail, CPG, BFSI etc. and we also have horizontals like Data Science, DE etc...
Now, you are a data scientist for CPG vertical.
For every vertical, we have multiple accounts (logos, clients). Like Unilever is a CPG account. And Unilever will have multiple projects, for Data science, data engineering etc.
The projects are typically 12-14 weeks. Tredence doesn't sign with an account for 1 project, we have pipelines for at least 6 months to 1 year. So, when one project is over, we go to the next one.
Even if projects are not extending in the same account, you will be assigned to different projects in CPG or other verticals.
So, is it all bells and whistles? No catch? If you are getting multiple client escalations or have performance related issues and if you are moved to the bench with <3 rating or put on PIP that's when you are at risk.
Hope it helps...
The ground reality differs from this sir, I was in a project and my lead managed that project solely and it was ended on timeline. After that we all were on bench and we were not getting any call for DE role, for more than 1.5 there were not a single call, I luckily got 1 project with desired tech stack. But my lead was asked to leave, he has not even completed 60 days on bench and there was no performance issue at all. So whatever you mentioned is correct but ………..
