The standout is the mejadara. It’s spiced rice and lentils with fried onions and is popular throughout the Middle East. How do you navigate a job offer that is contingent on the firm calling professional references? I don’t want to tell my current firm I’m leaving for this other firm until it’s official…which means I can’t use my current bosses as references.
