What's the salary range for a director at the Gilead Sciences foundation? There is a position perfect for me, but I don't want to throw my hat in the ring if starting salary isn't $180-190k. Also, any thoughts on the stability of their philanthropic commitment? There's talk of a recession; I don't want to go private to be cute a few months later.

After submitting my resume for the Global Finance and Business Management full time position at JP Morgan (my dream job!), I got a HireVue invite the next day! However, I completed it 9 days ago and still have no response....
When do we get a response in average, and after how much time does it mean I probably am not getting an offer to continue?

I'm hanging in! I'm finally making time to wrap some presents, which I should have done maybe a week ago. But you know how it goes, other things took precedence, and here I am, hoping I have enough paper and tape on Christmas Eve!๐๐๐คทโโ๏ธ

It is exhausting when families are young and you have 2 sets of families that want you to share your time with during the holidays. My advice as I now have grown children is gain some perspective and reflect on why you are exhausted (look for opportunities to minimize.). The perspective is your kids grow quickly and one day they will be gone and/or parents will die. Donโt mean to be morbid, it is just reality. I went through this and learned to project plan holidays with constraints on my/spouses time/money. Did not magically solve everything but it helped me get things done early or outsourced. Hope you all recharge (massage/spa day even if it is a pedicure!)
Thank youโฆ.good advice of course, though we are way past the young family stage! In my case, itโs more about having aging parents and in-laws and taking on holiday hosting duties while also helping older kids navigate re-entry during winter break. I love the holidays and am honored to be able to host my family and my husbandโs family, but itโs hard work.
