I have been in logistics for 5 years now since I was 18. I started out lumping trucks -> order processor -> CSR -> Amazon trainer/lead -> and I made a huge jump into the corporate world now as a Logistics Operations Associate for one of the biggest bottling companies. I have no degree and I feel like I was low balled heavily. Where do I go from here career wise? I can't afford school I believe in a year I can file Fafsa solo. What is my next role after this? What should be my niche? Cont.

I’m now 6dpt on a day 6 embryo (how’s that nomenclature supposed to look)? Not allowed to test for another full week - Monday is day 13. Today I woke up laden with cramps. Been tryin to play it off all day but I’m laid out on the sofa in fetal position. My Dr told me to avoid heat and meds and warned me not to test. This is like a 7 on the pain scale- prob worse than period cramps and kind of like my stomach is irritable but lower. Any tips? Am I psyching myself out to think this is it??

Can’t decide on a job offer. Currently employed and have been wanting to do something different. The other job offer is pretty much what I make now but I’d be losing on a lot of PTO. I kind of feel really confused about what to do. The hiring manager actually picked up on the fact that I don’t sound super excited for the job. Hi, I am having 1year and 3months of experience and Thoughtworks has offered me application developer - consultant graduate role with 11.1lpa as CTC(including that 1.5L benefits). They just sent me the salary breakup after I cleared my interviews. So can I negotiate on the compensation or is it strictly same for everyone having less than 2 yrs of experience/hired at consultant graduate designation?

I’m considering a less sales-oriented role (supporting some post-sales). It doesn’t pay commission, ie. will have a higher base but less overall earning potential.

Would you consider this? What reduction in cash should be expected going from a variable to fixed compensation? For example, if you made $200k today, would it be realistic to ask/expect $180k (10% cut) + equity to make up the difference?

Do any carriers in Europe pay salaries equal to their American counterparts? I’ve found that the salary for my role is pretty much halved across the Atlantic.

I know that my company, Chubb, does and from time to time they have rotational programs where not only do you maintain your US salary but you also get COLA and a housing allowance, unfortunately nothing right now nor permanent.

Another option would be insurance companies that pay your American salary while working abroad.

Two offers. Is it best to choose the company that is most stable because it’s larger but lacks a clear product offering and entering a new sector or the company that is more in growth phase but has clearer product offering?

I applied for a job based on the job description and now have an interview with the Recruiter in the next couple of days. In preparation for the interview I did some research and have serious concerns about the company. E.g., most of the most recent Glassdoor reviews describe the company as a "sinking ship" with poor benefits and poor leadership.
