Verizon has always been the toughest of the telcos. Fairly straightforward work. Not a whole lot of innovation. The brand needs a CMO willing to break the cycle.
Maybe it’s gotten better with the turnover at Verizon but it was a very tough account when we had it. That being said everything happens at warp speed to it’s great for your growth.
I was on the media side - some of the most overly confident managerial midwits work at Verizon. Any initiative taken and you’ll be taken down for standing out.
The new CMO ruined Peloton before failing up to Verizon. It’s not going to get better.

Let's put it this way. Once worked at R/GA and when exec leadership came onto the floor to tell the team we'd lost Verizon there was actual spontaneous applause.
