How difficult is it to get job offer for top tech company if someone is working in non-product or finance industry. I have been through multiple interviews ranging from phone to assessment but never moved forward. I received phone calls w/o referral but not sure what I am doing wrong as I don’t hear back after phone interview. I am thinking hands on product development. Any@insight is appreciated.

Hi fellow fishes, just received an offer for EY cap. Markers as an M, and wanted to get your view on how life at EY is like e.g. work life balance etc. Also wondering why EY has such a terrible rating (just 1.6) on Glassdoor. It’s kinda scary it’s so low

I went to a T14 law school, got great grades and glowing recommendations, and wrote (what I thought was) a great writing sample. But I got rejected from all 70 federal clerkships I applied to. The only thing I can think of is: I took a non traditional route after law school and did a 2 year public interest fellowship in a niche field of administrative law. The rejection gave me a lot of self hatred. I still really want to clerk. Any advice? What is wrong with me? I feel like a failure.

Which is a better specialization option within consulting? Commercial Operations (sales & marketing) vs. R&D Strategy in Biotech? Would the answer be different if it was focused within Pharma? No Ph.D.

Earlier today I was on a video conference call reviewing a Private Label Agreement template with a larger company who wishes to brand label products we develop and manufacture. We came to a very one-sided provision and my sales VP stated “for this one, how can we just say ‘hell no’ ...nicely?” The other person on the call said we can replace the wording with just NFW (no f@$* way) and I said “I will have to add that to the defined terms section so it’s clear”
