Hi Sharks,
Anyone faced below issue?

Whats PDP-GrowthINV ?
Cogno AI Hey fishes, One of my friends, got offer in cognizant. She have an epfo account with inactive UAN and she changed her name in aadhar recently and this epfo account has the past name. So she raised request for name change 2 months ago and still it's processing. And now cognizant asking the acknowledgement of changed name which the previous company cannot provide for obvious reasons. Will it affect the doj? Or anyone had this kind of problem before? For, IF they walk the walk all year around (same rule that applies to any enterprise / corporation)
I organized my office’s first march in 2019 and it was a huge success. I can wholeheartedly say that EY (at least my region) lives out D&I (Diversity and inclusion) everyday
I’m assuming he’s referring to pride becoming a corporate thing? (But I could be wrong)
Also, I assumed you were a guy and I apologise #respectallgenders
I’m not entirely opposed because I think it shows acceptance for the community from very large companies who wouldn’t do it if they didn’t feel like it would bring them more value. So if corporations are walking in pride it means that they believe their customers share those values. I understand arguments against it being that it can become an event that begins to lose the original message of pride which is to celebrate who we are as well as fight for equality and not just an event to party and have fun at.
Or support gay rights, but not trans rights, etc.

Why would anyone be against this
I feel some backlash may be cause they do it masquerade lack of support during 11/12 months
EY Toronto 2018
Before the ‘performance based layoffs’ and move to unlimited PTO debacle, I would have said EY cared about their people, but that made me realize they don’t give a shit. It’s all about optics.
I like it ONLY because it is a reflection of a more progressive and accepting society. Companies changing logos to pride flags and marching in the parade suggests that public opinion supports that so it won’t cost them profits
Do I believe it’s genuine? No lol corporations don’t care about us
I always thought corporate support was a good thing because it expanded LGBTQ+ visibility, but a friend pointed out that something like PRIDE shouldn’t be corporatized because it then loses its activist identity and the authenticity of its voice. I’m paraphrasing.
The last 4 years have been a bit of a rollercoaster politically. My spouse is transgender and there is a lot of uncertainty in the world. The firm’s pride initiatives go some way to making me feel safe in this environment. EY also has increasingly great transgender inclusive initiatives (e.g., $25k for surgeries not covered by insurance).
I have mixed feelings about this. On the one hand, corporations have massive platforms to influence the world so I think they should be used. On the other hand, I’m skeptical about giving corporations the power to legitimize a movement by giving them a voice in the social sphere.
