I have received offer from Shell and SAP labs is in final stage salary discussion. Shell is offering 6 lacs more than @SAP labs. I have tried to negotiate a lot from SAP but they are not ready. They are putting conditions like give your full commitment to join then only we'll release offer letter. I am currently looking for work life balance with growth. Should I join @SAP considering its a Product based and good WLB and learning? Teck Stack - Java/Micro-services/cloud YOE - 11yrs

For wudu I highly recommend wudu socks. As for prayer spaces, an empty conference room or even a relatively secluded space. Dr Yasir Qadhi was saying to not totally hide yourself while praying, but at least be visibly secluded from others, so that others know what you’re doing, not to disturb, and not be alarmed. It might even serve as da’wa.
Try find out if your office has mindfulness rooms you could pray in those
There is one. And is almost always occupied when i need it , esp around zuhar :/
Don‘t feel ashamed for praying! This is a blessing. See it as an option to tell him about Islam.
I remember working for a big company and was praying in the basement under the staircase. Once one co-worker came from the parking garage and was waiting for the elevator to come and recognized me praying. While in prayer I was ashamed that I do sth silly like this.
People drink and behave really stupid and come to the office the next day and don‘t feel ashamed at all. All while I felt totally ashamed for sth I‘m fully convinced of.
If you want people to respect you, Islam and you praying, you have to respect yourself first.
Sry for being a bit harsh, but I want people to be proud of their Islam.
PS: you can wipe over your socks.
I work from home now but when I used to work in office I have always made wudu in the office bathroom, walked in bathroom slippers, washed feet in the sink, and then made sure everything is clean after my use. I have received surprised stares but I've always responded with a smile. Hope it helps!
I like to start by checking if I have a spine, if that clears the check I proceed to make wudhu and pray the same way I do at home.
Humana told us middle east or Muslim Americans to segrete and unite in a Palestine United channel to talk about our blood which Humana considers is a political opinion to leave at home and practice silenc publically or be fired which they did to me. Our blood over seas or here isn't political views and can't be separated from the workplace. You dont give us middle eastern NRG and channels like you give African American, hispanic americans, others

I made an eeoc case for Humana asking for the muslim prayer times and prayers rooms and going to mosque at Humana per my constitutional freedoms. I recommend washing the parts up to the feet at a regular sink, and then washing the feet in the restroom using a small bottle or a small cup of water 🙂 that is usually easier for us, men
