How does promotion works in BoFA ?
1. Will they promote someone who has joined last year instead of promoting old employees who are at same level?
2. Will they promote all the people who are deserving irrespective of tenure in company?
3. Do they have to maintain a ratio like thing - there has to be x analyst y senior analyst and one associate in team etc etc.
4. Hardwork is the key or smart work is the key ?
5. When the promotions etc are out like what’s the cycle ? Increment month ?

Hi guys, i have a current CTC of fixed 30L and I got a variable ~8L (32%). I heard that Bofa doesn't give bonus so what is the ideal one can quote the HR and should look reasonable?
PS - I heard that Bofa gives an average hike of 10% whereas in consulting I have always received hike > 20 or above.
Given this and markets I was hoping for ~50L (considering 30+8)? Any suggestions. Also they are in an urgent requirement for the role to be filled. I need suggestions on this number. Thanks in advance
