Fun?
I wondered if”fun”’was a typo’
Not hard… know the institution’s policy and procedure and bargaining unit contract you’ll be fine.
I enjoyed it. Worked with mental health patients being held for crimes until they were deemed competent to stand trial so was more psych nursing than corrections, but similar. The staff and lack of management was what ruined it for me though.
Not hard. Never a boring day. The issue I faced was security sometimes trump medical smh
I have experience with correctional care. I also found it hard but I agree there was never a boring day with that position. I found it to be a good experience.
I enjoyed working in corrections when I first started and I still do. I feel like I'm caring for those who don't have a voice about their care, which can at times, be fulfilling.
