The hardest part of the job is building a book of business.

By a far margin bringing on new clients. The rest is actually easy if you budget your time and put systems in place over time.

Yes. It will destroy your action to build your book of business.

Do you think having to research and build portfolios could hinder your action to build that book of business and focus on current clients and gaining more clientele?

like

Our firm has already set advisory platforms all you do is plug and play. I try my best not to do any research or build any portfolios.

like

I only do the research on the particular strategists to choose from that is in the 'risk lane' in question. Like above, plug N play - but after I choose with Strategist to manage the Portfolio.

How does contract to hire work? If I’m offered $37/hr on w2 for 3 months and then possibly a permanent position, how much can I expect to get annually as a full time company employee as a BI data analyst II? I have a M.S. and certificates in DA but this will be my first job as DA.
I prefer working for what is offered on contract without negotiating, and then negotiate when I transition into the company itself so I have a better chance of getting the contract position and show my skills.
