Bonus was 80% of base salary last year for me
They've definitely been paying bonuses lol. Not 2021 levels though.
At a boutique bank making 280-300k this year. Base is below street.
Mine was 90% of base salary
Your manager is… banks have been paying bonuses. No doubt. I would quit IB if they stop paying bonuses.
If banks weren’t paying bonuses, people would not be sticking around. The last few years haven’t been stellar, but bonuses are still a material part of our comp. Was about 85-90% of my base last year and will prob be in same ballpark this year. 2021 and before was much higher
As a consultant at a low rated firm that no one takes seriously, I’m just elated to be able to read you guys’ bonus amounts. If I never achieve that level of comp, I’ll at least know what’s possible. Keep ‘em coming!
