I am currently working as a SCM analyst for auto company. I now have a offer from a company for role of IT systems analyst. The JD is like I will be designing information systems that are appropriate for user needs. The user here are the production plants.

I want to know if this will be a wise move from my end who solely has been on the SCM side.
