Hi Fishes, I grabbed an offer at Accenture with 12 LPA fixed for Level 9. I'm not getting a retention offer from my current company at 13.5 lpa. How do I go about a counter offer with Accenture HR? Also tell me how to approach this situation smoothly.
If HR doesn't fulfill the counter offer, is it ok to accept 12 lpa fixed for Level 9 and when will I get a hike here and how much would it be approximately?
Accenture Please provide your insights. This is my first switch so I ne more exposure

SM1 I’m more incentivized to leave because I’m picking up a ton of extra work that I’m not getting paid for. When two of my staff quit and now as a third year senior I’m preparing 70% of the EGAs in the database. So if this is the case in the NW, those people are getting paid to stay and pick up more work. My problem is the other markets aren’t doing anything tangible to recognize the problem. Just saying “hey sorry we know there’s turnover and we’re trying to find resources”
I’m so glad I jumped ship. I love hearing these posts. Good luck
We’ve lost over 20 people (mostly at the staff level) over the last few months. We’re really short-staffed. Market acknowledges this.. but we haven’t gotten any notice on retention bonuses etc.
How are you more “incentivized” to leave? Are your PNW colleagues posting offers of cash to leave the firm on FB? 🤔
SW and mountain markets also seriously short handed. More people quit each month. At this rate, there won’t be anyone left below Director by spring.
Serious talk on my main client of possibly not being able to get the audit done due to being so short staffed.
SM1 trust me our partners and senior managers know. It’s basically hopeless at this point. My utilization is sky high and I’m literally working 18 hours a day. Sadly there just isn’t anything they can do but try to pull experienced hires or try to compensate those who are taking on 18 hour days
Squarely wheel gets the grease. Keep on top of it and perhaps they will start looking nationally for resources
It does seem uneven who gets a bonus due to staffing and who does not. A lot of people struggling with resources
Leadership needs to focus resources where they are most needed. Whining that it is ‘uneven’ entirely misses the point!
In the Bay Area it’s expensive, and these companies pay much more, it’s the only way they can compete, I don’t know if I’ll make it to the end of the bonus thought haha.
You need to lean on your SM and/or partner to make the region wide request for resources. Tell them their job isn’t going to get done unless they find help for you
They are doing so in my market just seems that there are not enough bodies anywhere
@pwc 3 what market are you in?
Is it Philly? Please say Philly!!!

PwC 3- which SE office? That’s my market too. Haven’t heard anything about this at all.
I’m in Florida. We’re losing staff left and right. It’s actually sad
