Hello All,
I have recently joined FIS Global around end of April. My mother recently met with an accident and she needs to be operated.
I haven't been able to update the anything regarding the insurance part yet on FIS portal.
Will my mother's treatment be covered under the insurance? If yes, what's the procedure for the same? What are the documents that I need to submit in order to claim the amount?
Can anyone please guide?

I mean there’s certain things you can’t do on a work computer (like interview for new jobs)
Been there - done that
I do a ridiculous amount of personal stuff on the work comp. So does everyone else like the partner who forgot he was sharing and started googling infowars in the middle of someone's answer to a question
Save yourself the potential compliance hassle and get a new personal comp. Doesn’t have to be anything fancy, just enough to surf the net. Highly recommend separation.
I do Everything
Your firm should have a personal use policy written up somewhere, and most of the time they're very generous about what you're allowed to do. I use my work laptop for all my personal things because they all fit within the policy.
Check if/what the policy is and if you're uncomfortable or unsure about if you'd be covered by it then you can spring for a personal laptop
I use my work laptop for literally everything. If I want to google something that may be NSF, I use my phone. All taxes, online shopping, job applications, etc. are on my work laptop.
Well would you want your employer to see the stuff you’re browsing? If you don’t mind, then no need for a new laptop
*your employer can see your browsing history even if you’re on private browsing
Nobody cares as long as it’s legal and not against policy. I do personal stuff all the time on my work laptop.
Get a new computer. You don’t want to mix personal with work
I’m not searching for ammo deals on my work laptop.
Grew up seeing ESPN on one side of my dad's ThinkPad, so I too tend to do everything on my work computer.
If you ARE looking to separate, an iPad might honestly fit the bill - they are super powerful these days and are a lot easier to manipulate on a plane. You can also use it as a second screen with 3rd party apps (it's native on Mac, but I'm assuming your work comp is pc)
