How much would the salary be as a risk manager for AmEx in NY?

Currently make 170k base with 25k bonus as associate manager and put for promotion end of this year. Got an offer as senior engineer at pre-ipo startup (like stripe, chime, Databricks) for similar cash comp but more equity so total would be 210-225k. Should I go for start up role or stick it out for promotion? Purely looking for compensation, growth and WLB

When people say Total Comp? What do they mean exactly? I understand this is short for “Total Compensation” which includes salaries and bonuses. Besides Bonus and Base what else is there? Stocks? Health Care? Some folks will say My TC is 165k 10k bonus. Why mention the bonus separately?
