My entry-level interviews typically last 20-30 minutes, and senior-level interviews often run 45-60 minutes or more to assess deeper experience and leadership. Thirty minutes for entry-level is reasonable if structured well. You could consider tightening questions to stay efficient but still get meaningful insights.
OP what's your role in the overall process?
It can depend on the industry and role specifics, sure, but I think a 30-minute interview is a good average. I would be concerned that there’s not enough time to get to know the candidate, but it would also look bad from the candidate's point of view. Depends too on how long they are thinking it should be instead.
