None I mean, I have people in friendly with at work and we sometimes hang out but as far as my true core friends circle I’m the only one in consulting, so it’s nice to have people not in the industry but sometimes I think it’ll be nice to have people who knew what my life was like and who you know keep up with my conversations

That’s a good point. It is nice to have the ability to relate, even if just to feel like other people get you if you’re venting about something at work.
The challenge with having so much of my circle in consulting is I don’t get exposed to other areas or have my way of thinking challenged. I’ve been making a point of connecting with people from other areas both from a networking standpoint but also just to mix things up.
Mainly finance or engineers for me. Only really have C friends at Accenture and they’re all so down to earth it doesn’t feel like a bubble
Also have childhood best friends that are all blue collar too that I keep up with regularly
