Firstly, what sort of positions are you applying to? You clearly don’t have much experience, so if you’re applying for senior positions, you’re in trouble. Secondly, the layout is less than great. Consider removing the emoji. Thirdly, looking at your resume doesn’t tell me much about your value prop. What do you bring to the table? Have you shipped designs/products? If so, tell me what designs have done for your company (we’re talking numbers here… increased conversions/revenue, # of users, etc. You’re a UX designer, so look at your resume through a UX lens where the hiring manager is your user. Finally, since most companies screen resumes with an AI, you may want to talk to someone who can help you optimize your resume to appeal to those screening algorithms.
thank you for your feedback.
If you are looking for positions in the U.S. then this format is not going to work well with the emojis and layout.
As for the content, you need your resume to speak for you. Use this format for each line: action, impact, result. Include quantifiers... numbers matter here. How many people impacted, how much money or time saved etc.
Apart from the layout feedback - more obvious portfolio link. I recruited a lot of designers and I mostly cared about the work in their portfolios. I just ignored profiles that didn’t include a portfolio link. There is a chance that I didn’t spot the link sometimes because it was small or poorly placed.
Also - whenever it took me a while to find a small link on a crowded resume - my first though always was “You clearly don’t know a lot about good information hierarchy”
