How should I make sure that after getting into account I will be sent onsite in 2months or so ( whatever time it takes to complete the visa process), and not asked to work few more months or year from offshore?

Considering I am joining the project for onsite only.

Also please let me know what should I discuss and to whom before getting allocation.
