HRA in FCP not updated

I've added and submitted my FCP by including HRA component as well. But i missed to check the confirmation email of the FCP being updated. So i received less salary as the Tax was calculated for Gross salary without HRA. (Increased tax of 12K, when compared to last month). When i raised a ticket, Payroll team is saying that FCP is locked and nothing can be done for the financial year.

1. Anyway to add the HRA to FCP for tax calculation
2. What happens to additional 12k?

How to promote the automation culture and documentation culture? I find it hard to give boni for automations since
a) the amount of automations isn't the amount of saved time
b) the amount of saved time is hard to be tracked for a single automation

And how much everyone hates documentation is well known.
