I'm using data jpa to connect to oracle DB in our API.

We have one scenario when the DB is down, then also normal flow should work.

Although it is working fine, but when we are checking the logs it's taking more than 1 second just to identify that the DB is locked, this is not within our SLA.

In the normal case it's processing within 200 ms.

We're using Spring Boot, Hibernate, Oracle 19c

Please provide some valuable suggestions from our side

I have been working as BI developer (SQL+ BI Tools) for 4 years and 7 months and recently moved to a tech organization. I plan to do MBA in 2-3 years ISB/IIM(1YR)/M7/T16/etc.

Like your team lead would give you some work on Friday and the deadline would be on Monday. So you'll have to work overtime or over the weekend to finish it on time.
