I am a third year associate at a small boutique (DCM) , and my bank (NY-based) makes me print and bind presentations to save money, pays little annual bonus, and gives no increment - while major fees go to sr. management. Is this a common practice in small IB firms? Furthermore, I am on F1 and it's my last attempt at the H1B lottery and I have an MBA loan. Should I consider quitting even with these risks?

Folks - when you calculate the total diluted share counts, does the result have to tie to the reported diluted share counts on the most recent filing (either 10K or 10Q)?

Received an offer for equity research and IB, both in toronto. ER paying $120k base and my understanding is that bonus can be around 25-30%. IB is paying $105k base but likely higher bonus? Which one would u choose if you think you would be good at both
