Is there a way to identify the “Board of Approvers” for EOY PA review? MDs that would be on the call?
Happy to help. Honestly I'm sorry it's so opaque sometimes, so happy to share my view. I don't need more deckwork (well, I do but that's not your problem) but if you could pay it forward by sharing some of these thoughts with your peers that may have similar questions, I'd appreciate it.
And of course if you or they are having different / conflicting experiences (there is a fair amount of variation given the size of our org), always happy to field more questions here.
To make this more efficient: you should be hearing about midyear promotion results in late May, midyear promotions are effective June 1.
Julie has said we expect the same number of midyears as in previous years, which probably means they are focused on people supported for promotion in the last regular cycle but didn't quite get it due to affordability.
For more specific guidance on what you personally can expect, please reach out to your talent lead.
Yeah, I inputted my reflections and aspirations in the PA tool and my CC reviewed it. She actually shared her screen when putting me up for promotion. I'm unsure about the client side but I was awarded for high client impact and had a all hands meeting celebrating it. My CC called me right after the promotional call and told me some people in the call were impressive but she thought I had the best story.
