Hi all - I am looking to move into the world of brand strategy consulting (KPMG has customer consulting division but brand and marketing aren't that strong. Also KPMG UK is the only one of big 4 that has not bought an agency!!). Wanted to hear some advice on the options: go to a boutique (like Lippincott, Prophet) or brand agency? Hey Fishes, Recently got an offer from PharmEasy for the Data Analyst role with a 30 % hike from current salary at Deloitte, where CTC is 8.1 LPA But will have to pay in the training cost along with the joining bonus which comes up to 2.4 lac. Really confused what to do as I've been on bench for 3 months now with no learning opportunity and don't know what kind of projects I might get ahead and what about the wlb as compared to PharmEasy. 2.5 years ago I had a base of $90K with 8 years of experience. Jumped on the consulting wagon and I just turned down an offer for $185K base + $70K RSUs because it's below my current comp. I have 3 yrs experience as a virtual admin, 20 industry. An OSJ wants to hire me to virtually assist 3 advisors at a CU w/ 150M AUM. Expectation is to pitch in on other needs outside of these advisors, long hours. Last min I was told this isn’t a direct hire at first, but via a placement agency for 3-6 mo. “This is how we do things nowadays. Does anyone have any tips for staying focused enough to bill consistently every day? It seems that I’m only able to bill the requisite 8-10 hours daily when I’m overwhelmed, not when I have a decent amount of work to do but no pressing deadlines. I made my hours last year but it’s been an absolute struggle trying to stay on track. I’m already down 170 hours from where I need to be at this point and unless I get my shit together, there’s no way I can hit hours. Ugh.
