When do we get to know mid year promotion results

Where do IT leaders hangout on the internet? I’ve been building a SaaS tool the last 6 months focused on making life easy for data analysts and scientist to find and understand data. Basically, an internal google search for data. I was able to raise funds and build a product and received positive initial feedback. I’m curious if anyone knows any spots to find data or analytics directors on forums? I’ve been using LinkedIn and Reddit to promote, but curious if I’m missing any obvious channels.

Does BNP APAC does background verification before sending offer letter or after sending the offer letter? I have not been asked about the educational certificates yet. They have only asked the PAN, PASSPORT and Current employer salalry slips and promotion letter. P.s - I have recieved the offer letter now. Frustrated by EOY evaluations and lack of transparency from my manager. I was told when I started a new role in September that my metrics from these first months would not play a role in my raise. When following up with my manager about why my raise was 20k less than my colleague they told me it was completely based on my metrics when I know it’s based on having started in a different department. My metrics are the same as theirs and I do more above & beyond work. Do I stay?

I’m a very experienced veterinary assistant who has been doing this job for about 4 years in total however because of my skill level I would say I am more of an unlicensed technician. I’m looking for input on what I should ask for a raise. Given the minimum wage, I make about $5 over but that hasn’t really changed to match inflation of living, etc and truly feel like I should be making a decent amount more given my skills. Have offer from a former big law boutique firm that does all kinds of litigation. NYC 150k and 1800 hr expectation. Same pay/ hours as my current firm insurance coverage (why im looking to leave) but I only started here 8 months ago after I was Covid laid off from a lit firm I had only been at for 3 mnths I did a 2 yr fellowship after law school (t15/2016) with a non profit then clerked Is this salary low? if this doesn’t work out is it possible to lateral after 2-3 yrs even if I’ll be a 6/7y
