Wipro I am working in wipro under HSBC India project. Yesterday hsbc townhall happened and in that CIO saying that they want to take off all thrid party and contractors and replace them with hsbc permanent employees which they are going to hire in coming months as a part of cost optimisation. I am little worried here. Is it true and is it possible to do so? I think nearly 50% of employees are contractors here. Please clarify.

Is it SAFE joining Wipro as technical lead (B3) with 37LPA? Knowing that package is pretty high as compared to collogues in same band. HR is not ready to give project manager(C1) position.
Appreciate your suggestions/input.

Ya it happens but its not gonna happen all at once. Slowly step by step they do and if there is some important resource in contractors, they hire them as permanent employees.
