I applied for a Senior Manager position at Amgen and went through three rounds of interviews.Even after completing all three rounds, I did not receive any feedback. When I followed up after a week, I was informed that someone else had already been hired and their background check was in progress which was surprising, as I had just attended my final round a week earlier.This experience reflects a lack of transparency, coordination, and respect for candidates’ time.

In my case, just after the f2f interview which went pretty well, I was asked to send the documents for the hiring process. After a week, the hr said that they are improvising the JD structure with yoe. A week later, the hr said that the role is on hold for now as there is winter shutdown and after I asked when I could hear back, the hr mentioned to keep applying for other jobs.
Waste of time, effort and flight fares.
I had high hopes after attending all the rounds though, but it seems that the system is broken.

I was surprised how come just in a week someone else was hired offered and bgv also started. Also after clearing first two rounds they didn’t even bother to give feedback for third round
