I applied for two jobs. Both pulled the job off the market due to "restructure" within days of each other. It's hard not to feel deflated in this time. How are you coping?

It seems like there are a lot of stories along those lines. I suspect a lot of companies willed themselves into harboring optimistic thoughts as last year ended and planned on doing some hiring early this year. And perhaps they're not seeing what they were hoping to see at this point. Let's hope things turn around soon.

I think you are right. It feels like companies planned for growth, then pulled back once reality set in. The whiplash is what makes it draining. I am trying to stay steady and not let market mood swings dictate my self worth.

If I have a valid H1B until May 2025, will the i131 being denied have any impact on me? I need to travel out of country and I know that’ll result in i131 being denied automatically. I have filed for 485 in July 2022 and hopeful that it’ll get approved before my H1B has to be renewed in May 2025. Is there any risk of travel king out of country multiple times on H1B before 485 approval?
