I bought an investment property in another state with the help of Agent A. She and I became friends, and she even does small maintenance jobs for me—I pay her, of course. She originally sold me a different house, which she then sold to Agent B, who is also an agent. Agent B renovated the property, and when I decided to buy a second investment property, I reached out to her directly to buy that house. I did this to save the 3% commission I would have paid Agent A.
